Eric Olson and his wife Linda built Cole Creek Roping Arena in 1998.  At that time, Eric was one of the top PRCA bullfighters, he was traveling the country and following his dreams. 

After many years of being on the road, Eric decided to switch gears and pursue his passion for horses.  Being around horses his whole life,and involved in team roping, this was a natural transition for Eric.   Being in the PRCA for almost 20 years has given Eric the privilege of being around the best horses and best horsemen in the country.

Eric has now been training horses full time for over six years.  He is still very active in the team roping world and prides himself in competing with the horses he has trained.
